The location is ideal, with easy access to downtown and the beautiful Nagoya Castle. The ryokan is conveniently located near the train station and offers a stunning view of the garden from the spacious rooms. The service is outstanding, with the third generation proprietor welcoming and guiding guests. The traditional Japanese meals are not to be missed, showcasing local delicacies. The ryokan also offers amenities such as a traditional Japanese bath house, yukatas for guests to wear, and complimentary coffee and tea. The attention to detail and the atmosphere of the ryokan are truly remarkable.

There may be some noise disturbance from other guests in the onsen area at night.

I had the most very nice experience staying at a hidden gem in Nagoya. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly third generation proprietor, Hiroshi Sato. The ryokan itself was a fusion of traditional Japanese design and modern elegance, beautifully captured by Mr. Sato's extraordinary sense of style. The room I stayed in was one of the fantastic suites, complete with luxurious amenities such as a mini-frig, upscale coffee machine, and Villeroy & Boch mugs. The communal area was also well-equipped with self-serve Japanese plates and complimentary coffee and tea. One standout feature was the traditional Japanese bath house, offering a authentic experience. The meals prepared by Mr. Sato and his talented wife were amazing, showcasing local delicacies. As a parting gift, Mr. Sato surprised me with home-baked mini-cookies and a bag of local snacks. I had an enjoyable and lovely stay at this ryokan.

What a hidden gem! I had an amazing experience during my Thanksgiving stay here. they provided complimentary drinks and toiletries which was great. The location was also perfect, just a few steps away from restaurants and shops. Additionally, the quiet surroundings and peaceful ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind. I also loved the traditional Japanese garden - it was a nice addition to the overall charm of the place.

I really had a wonderful time during my stay, but the only downside was the lack of English signage which made it a little challenging to navigate around the area. However, this was a minor inconvenience, and the helpful staff made up for it.

This Japanese-style accommodation is a true hidden gem. Situated within walking distance of the castle park, train station, and downtown, the location is unbeatable. the exquisitely designed rooms offer tranquil comfort with soft futons and a view of a serene Japanese garden. the exemplary service, relaxing public bath, and complimentary tea and coffee only add to the charm. the breakfast is as delicious as it is varied and served with a professional touch. Guests can rent bicycles for a scenic ride around the city.

The rooms can be a bit small, so guests should pack light to avoid feeling cramped.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the value for money was exceptional. I stayed in one of their private rooms and the price was very reasonable. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms on the garden side had a peaceful Zen serenity with a lovely garden view. The addition of a 4-seater sofa in the room was a nice touch, providing extra comfort and relaxation. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious. The hotel served excellent vegetarian meals, just like the one reviewer mentioned in their review.

All was perfect, nothing to improve.

I had an amazing stay at this hidden gem of a ryokan in Nagoya. The value for money was exceptional and the room was beautifully designed with modern amenities. The location was convenient and the staff treated me with great hospitality throughout my stay.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings even better would be a wider variety of options.
